The M8190A Keysight’s most advanced Arbitrary Waveform Generator, in terms of SIGNAL FIDELITY (ENOB / number of effective bits and in terms of EVM) per its bandwidth.
It offers super resolution of 12 bits, up to 12Gsa/Sec, allowing superb signal fidelity at wide instantaneous bandwidths of up to 5GHz, ideal for ultra-clean generation of signals such as 5G new radio (1.4GHz bandwidth is easy!), 802.11AX, 802.11AD (WiGig), RADAR signals and more.
The M8190A also supports cutting edge “RF DAC” modes (in addition to the standard “conventional” NRZ DAC mode, of course), such as RZ and DRZ which modify the “normal” SINC response of a “regular” (NRZ) DAC into very flat responses at Nyquist zones 2 and 3, allowing to use this model for IF generation (I.E. to use replica signals created in Nyquist zones 2 or 3, not only Base Band).
